Symptoms of Mesothelioma of Peritoneum

The most common symptoms of mesothelioma of the peritoneum are

1.Ascites : Abnormal fluid collection in the abdominal cavity.

2.Weight loss

3.Pain in the abdomen

4.Swelling in the abdomen

5.Constipation

6.Fever mainly due to infection

7.Anaemia

Even if these are the visible symptoms of the disease , the diagnosis of peritoneal mesothelioma often occurs only in the advanced stages of the disease.
